In my mind, when it comes to getting dressed in the morning, there is nothing quite as wonderful as a loose, breezy, effortless piece of clothing. I am not a huge fan of fitted clothes – I don’t want to feel like I’m suffocating in whatever I’m wearing, nor have the constant need to suck it all in! I found the perfect pair of pants in Agios Pavlos that I probably wore a thousand times. I called them my “Aladdin pants” or MC-Hammer-pants-on-steroids. They were perfect for taking a walk, going to the beach, throwing on at night when it got cold, and even doing Pilates. We all bought a pair of these pants. We became the Sisterhood of Traveling Pants. Hah! Anyway, I couldn’t get enough of them. They were everywhere! I wanted to buy another pair every time I saw them in a store but they won’t be of much use with winter coming… I think I’m just a sucker for cultural clothing that I can wear easily.
One more post from Crete to come… xo
